Our skull bracelets refer to the vanities of the middle ages but also to the jolly roger on the pirates' black flags. The skulls are associated with gemstones or leather, mounted in wrap or braided in macrame. Skulls are symbols that have long been present in many fields such as art, religion, politics, music or tattooing. Often associated with "memento mori" (remember that you are going to die) the skull reminds of the ephemeral nature of life. Very present in pirate imagery, it was used to incite fear in enemies while reminding the crew to enjoy all the small pleasures of life at all times.
